We were looking for somewhere different to go for a birthday celebration. We got a table in a nice bit of the restaurant. All clean, really lovely back drops. Ordered drinks and meals at the bar. The only complaint of the visit was that two bar staff continued with their private conversation whilst serving me, so that was interesting!! (One female (serving) and one male) Food came out in good time. Was presented absolutely lovely and it tasted delicious. I had the fishcake salad. Waiting staff were really friendly and courteous, and polite. They couldn't have done more. Well done guys. Really enjoyed our visit to you overall. Thank you.

We booked for 15 for a hen do and paid a deposit 4 weeks ago. We arrived today to find that although we had booked and they had our deposit they only had space for 9 of us. They did arrange more tables and chairs but we ended up being squashed around a few tables. The food was great and cocktails good value for money. Shame that they hadn't reserved us proper space though.

As the smiling barman said "cocktails are always here 2 for 1, you should come here more often" so, maybe, I should! Absolute gorgeous interior, inviting seating areas are tasteful music. Totally ideal place to celebrate your Bday or any other special occasion. Loved it!

Stopped for a light bite , sitting outside with the dog. Food took a little while to arrive. Was fine but lacked a little in flavour.

Really nice food although it took a long time coming. Great decor and very clean. Loved the loo!!

Very smart newer generation of Slug and Lettuce. It's worth a visit just to check out how nice it is inside. Nice staff and clientele and a very cool vibe to the place.

Booked this place over the phone for a group of 19. Was advised that I had to book 2 tables one for 16 and another for 3. 2 of the party couldn't attend so S&L sorted it so we could all be on a table together. We had the bottomless brunch get food and prosecco replaced pretty quickly. 1 of the party didn't get their meal however S&L took that off the bill. :)

As a bar i rate it higher but I went for a bottomless brunch which was average, nothing special. The food itself was ok, medium sized portions but the chef/waiters got our 4/7 of our orders wrong which wasn't ideal. The staff were polite and friendly, no complaints there. If our food orders were correct and the price was lower then I would up my rating.

After a discussion with the manager Rachel pointing out to her that me and my friends were forced to sit outside all evening whilst others were allowed entry we were asked to leave by the door staff, we spent 2 hours sat outside causing no issues and engaged with the door staff whilst spending money at the bar, no reason was given for our ejection from the premises. Our evening was ruined by this young lady who is obviously in over her depth and freely discriminated against us, an awful experience all round, hopefully the owners of this establishment will remove her and allow people to enjoy the facility as we have done in the past !!!

Absolutely love this place. Great staff inside and door staff. Very friendly and very helpful. Don't have to spend a fortune on drinks as they are BOGOF Very good selection of cocktails 🥰 I really should have learnt ( at my age) just because they are buy one get one free doesn't mean I have to order more 😳🤮🎉🥳🤣
