Sixt Car Hire cambridge

I had a very nice experience with Tibi when I returned the car today. He clearly knows what he is doing and was very friendly. Sixt Car Hire is the best car rental company out there. Their staff are competent, professional and I will definitely come back.

Truck was as expected, though damaged on the roof letting water in to the back, but they did not know about this. Staff were lovely and helpful. I would use again

Like other reviews only read after, they scammed the excess liability out of my credit card due to scratches, either before my rental period or after I returned the vehicle. The staff at the Cambridge depot are very nice and attentive, it is after the rental that they scam their customers with a report of alleged new damages to the vehicle. From what I know, they could do it themselves and scam customers out of our money. They have the customer's credit card details... so they can "legally" charge the credit card up to the amount of the signed insurance excess. I wonder if there are any 'no win no fee' attorneys to deal with this!... I will never rent from this company again!

Fast and efficient. The staff were friendly all the checks were done quickly both taking a van out and returning it.

Ash at reception was really nice and helpful. The car was in good condition and did the job. Also really nice that they're open on Sundays, unlike some of their competitors.

Great experience and competitive pricing. I had booked through a comparison website that listed the Sixt location as Cambridge station so was slightly delayed but spoke with Aaron who was very friendly and extremely helpful in explaining different options available and also providing insights into insurance options etc. Would highly recommend for car rentals in Cambridge!

Popped in to collect my van and was warmly welcomed by Aaron. He swiftly dealt with my rental, talked me through all the available options for insurance etc before showing me round the van. Overall a very pleasant experience and due to that, I'll be using Sixt again for future rentals.
