Chelsea the customer assistant is very rude and becomes aggressive if challenged on anything she says, especially if you know what needs to be done. She leaves important personal info unsecure when moving on to deal with another customer despite not finishing with the current one. She makes false allegations in order to intimidate customers who she doesn't want to help. She appears only to want customers she can boss around.

The Post Office is inside Scotmid next to the tills. There's usually only 1 person working there and depending on when you go, depends on how long you wait. A few times I've been lucky enough to go there when it's quiet. I normally get my Amazon parcels delivered here to collect. It's much more convenient than trying to be at home for a delivery that could arrive any time! The opening times are different than advertised, most days the counter is only open until 17:30 and not 20:00!

The young girl in glasses was extremely rude and unhelpful. Reading other reviews I believe her name is Chelsea. Made me pay for a pre-paid return package with no clear explanation, other than that I reckon she hates her life. When I asked if I could take a picture of the pre paid special delivery return label on the bag after I had handed her the parcel, she told me no because it was against data protection. None of the information on the package was remotely close to breaking GDPR, particularly as it was would of been my information (none of which could of been used to identify me anyway), so in reality she was the one breaking data protection regulations by with-holding my own. This package itself was a pre paid return package for a Vodafone router I was returning. She said there was no proof it had been paid, despite the special delivery return label on the package, the two barcodes on the package as well as written confirmation via letter from Vodafone inside the package. After I agreed (stupidly) to pay for the package, no further label or stamp was placed on the package to 'prove' purchase, confirming my suspicion all along that the return label special delivery was proof of purchase from Vodafone. Her mannerisms were shockingly rude and unprofessional, and seems to relish aggravating customers. I shall not be going back to that post office. I have contacted both the Royal Mail Postal Service and Calder Road Post Office to request a refund and pursue action against her.

Never open anymore, on the few occasions they are there they close whenever they want & the young girl with glasses has a serious attitude problem - unless you happen to be a man that she fancies. Ridiculously unprofessional post office.

I called ahead of my dad going to this post office for me as I'm self isolating but needed my car taxed and to apply for a V5 that didn't make it to me. My requirements were quite confusing so when I spoke to Claire to ask her to keep an eye out for my Dad who has Parkinsons (he can be hard to hear) she couldn't have been more helpful. She told me she would keep an eye out for him and even called me when the transaction was complete so that my Dad didn't have to explain the out come to me. Really friendly, professional service and just above and beyond. Thanks again.
