We had a really good time at Shooshh, I booked a VIP booth for my friends Hen Party. The service and area provided was great and they did some extra things like provide balloons and confetti to make the hen feel extra special. The only downside for me is that there is only one toilet in the whole club which meant getting to the ladies loo took almost an hour of queuing each time.

Good music, bouncers are very strict so be careful. Two rooms with different music which was good.

Bouncers are racist. My friend booked his birthday VIP table weeks in advance and travelled from London to Brighton and ended up being turned down despite the fact my friend told them how many guys were coming. Would recommend any black person with a big group to NEVER attend this club!!!

This review is long overdue, would just like to say thank you so much to the team at Shooshh, the security and the managers who took care of me whilst not being in a good state (not one of my proudest moments). They made the effort to locate my friends simply from my (poor) description, to ensure I was not alone. I'm sure that was no easy task in a club full of people! They gave me somewhere quiet to sit inside the club with my friends and bottles of water and even called a taxi for us to ensure we got home safe! Once again, very very grateful!

Shoosh is the place where they disrespect their customers. Shoosh staff members treat customers as trash. Avoid this place at all costs if you want to have a nice night out in Brighton. There are many better places in this town.

It’s a Saturday and still fairly early and they have no lager, no chicken wings, no fruit…. Slow service. Had to ask to for napkins and given no cutlery for the what limited food we had to have. Also very clever in getting payment up front, if we had known how long the wait would of been we would of left. What is the point being open ?

We arrived at the venue on a quiet Wednesday evening, to be greeted with rude security who took a real identification driving license of someone in the party and SNAPPED it - then taped it back together with SELLOTAPE and allowed him in like there was no issue. When we queried this we were told it was normal procedure to SNAP an ID they believe to be counterfeit. I am disgusted with this service, as a group of all 20-21 year olds who have never been denied entry into a venue, we feel extremely upset by the way our immigrant friend has been falsely singled out.
