I cannot recommend Sherlock Homes highly enough. I got quotes from most of the estate agents in Chorlton when selling my house. The SH valuation was higher than the others but Paul Jenkins showed a detailed knowledge of the local market and my house sold within 2 weeks for more than the asking price. I knew the house didn't need a video / clever photographs to attract interest. Paul managed the viewings efficiently, kept me informed throughout the process & chased solicitors when needed. A great service from start to finish for a very reasonable price.

We’ve no hesitancy in recommending Paul Jenkins at Sherlock Homes who recently managed both the sale and the purchase of a house for us. He was enjoyable to deal with, has extensive professional expertise as well as great knowledge of the local market, and tries his best for both parties (buyer/seller) .

Paul and the team were great in the purchase of our new home. The market in the area was competitive for 1st time buyers but we managed to get a viewing very swiftly and got The keys within 8 weeks, which was a really great turnaround.

Absolute disgrace. Couple of polite staff. But some very very rude people.. They say they are not a managing agent for my partners property, but they do have a duty of care if a tenant has ongoing boiler issues from March. They have left her with a boiler that has a gas leak to start with, (bearing in mind, no smoke or heat or carbon alarms in the house) No hot water or heating for 2weeks with 2 children under the age of 18. To top it off the landlord was paid 6months upfront then been paid early for 3 months and is now hounding her for rent almost a week earlier than its due. Yet won't do the basics. Sherlock homes, do us a favour. Vet your landlords the way you vet the tenants! But who vets yourselves...... We will leave that to reviews shall we.

Worst real estate agency ever. They try to keep your money. It took 6 months to get my deposit back, even though they admitted that they would not make any deduction since we left the house in perfect condition. I went to the office to claim my money several times but they didn't give me a solution. I had to start a legal process to get my money back, I finally got it back after they received a letter informing them that I would take them to court. I think they tried to take advantage of the fact that I am not British and thought they could keep my money. Avoid this agency at all costs.

Incredibly poor. Broken promises over having issues fixed, found a condom wrapper in plain view under the end when I first moved in, and they've tried to charge illegal fees twice and to get me to sign a contract incompatible with Tenant Fees Act. They seem to have absolutely no understanding of how to run a letting agency and seem to just hope their tenants don't bother to question anything. Exceptionally inept.
