I needed my medication on a certain day and the lloyds pharmacy next door didn't deliver when they should have done.so I just checked in the doctors first to make sure all my medication was at the chemists, and as I had an inkling they didn't know where one of my medication was so I asked they said they didn't know and that the other secretary knew but wasn't in today, would I check with the chemist so I did instead of them making a phone call. The visit to the chemist came as no surprise, no they hadn't had a prescription for that item but would check. Then with no result I went back to the doctors no help whatever they said come back tomorrow as the Dr was busy, this is a surgery with many drs,and i had an appointment out of the area and wouldnt be here for weeks, this fell on on deaf ears and the secretary gave me a shrug. This time I was losing my temper they said check the chemist again! By the way did I mention I am disabled. So I did and you guessed it no prescription. So incensed I went back and the secretary said there is nothing she could do in temper I swiped the tissue box which hit her and walked out to get in my taxi which had been waiting so instead of my meds being delivered I had a £15 taxi fare and a phone call off the police then a letter saying I needed to find new doctors.I admit my part in this debacle but be forewarned "patients come first." "Hah!"

2/ 5

Reception staff are useless, rude and incompetent, and when I was given an appointment for a repeat prescription (as they wanted to see me before giving the prescription) I was given a junior doctor who could not prescribe my medication, will most likely move doctors.
