In stark contrast to some of the other reviews, I can’t fault them as I received an excellent service. I found the staff extremely helpful, my items were exactly what I wanted and they modified the sizes for me. They were delivered (packaged very well) a day earlier than I expected and the prices were the best I could find so I was delighted.

I have had an unfortunate experience with this company and will not use their products in the future. It has been a catalogue of errors, incompetence and very poor communication from the beginning. From taking over 2 weeks to deliver an order, due to a baffling mix up with a customer of the same name, to the order being dumped on my drive, preventing me from using my car, to one of the items being incorrect. 5 days later a replacement item was sent only for me to find it was the same incorrect item as before. Once again a replacement was sent, this time correctly, except that it was badly damaged. I finally received the correct item over a month after placing the original order. I was also charged for delivery when the website states free delivery on UK mainland. I am absolutely positive I don’t need to take a boat or plane to get to my front door! Sending emails seems to elicit no response, hence the need to write this review. Poor show Shawfield, very poor show.

Bought plywood, cut to size, no issues at all. Happy with the service. Will be back for more stuff in the future for sure.

I recently ordered decking from Shawfield Timber and found the staff very helpful and professional. I was kept updated with the delivery schedule which arrived as promised. The goods were of a good quality. I would definitely recommend the company and use them again
