A lot of the time my mum has to ring, as we have to go around the times it suits her. Lately she rang because I need a GP letter for my PIP claim, the receptionist said wait until I have received the form to see what they are asking. There is no need to wait for a benefit claim form, all they ask is about your day to day living and how your disability affects you. If I could use the letter Dr. 'idiot' Hanif did I would, but I obviously can't can I, she's no longer there. I've been with this place since it opened, and I agree with the concusses of other reviews here, the reception staff are horrible - no wonder Hanif didn't pay you. Now when I try to call to speak to these morons myself I get no answer. Avoid this place at all costs, register with another practice if you have to even if it's out your way, this one will just cause you a lot of stress and hassle, and this is coming from someone who's been here over 10 years. Edit: Finally spoke to someone myself, the latest fiasco with this place is, now they are asking me to pay £30 just for a more up to date GP letter. I think my case is pretty unique here, I ALREADY have a GP's letter from the one who left them high and dry (it was even in the Bolton Evening News about it). I have to go in with all the documents I have now, they're obviously more interested in the letter Hanif gave me from 2011, all other paperwork is irrelevant in this. I am not paying a fee for a letter, I've even been advised not to by the RNIB organisation. If I have to complain to the NHS about this practice I will, I refuse to lay down for absolutely anyone. These are patient records, we as the patients have every right to request things, you can't put things like this behind a pay wall. You're not the only practice in town, there is others, and I'll just take my 'business' elsewhere if I'm going to be treated like a second class citizen.
