Went to the alterations all day session - it was brilliant. I went home with 5 pieces of clothing I could wear (which previously didn't fit) - I was especially pleased with two of my favourite dresses which were too small and I thought would never fit again. Melanie the teacher was excellent - working out solutions to all the challenges and I can now wear my dresses again. Thank you! Will definitely be back for more.

I was gifted a workshop and came to it as a total newbie! The welcome email made it easy to rock up and get going and guidance on the day was excellent. The teachers put me at ease, the atmosphere was creative and fun while being calming and focused. Help was on hand at all times (as was tea!) so I felt I made the most out of the session. Looking forward to my next session :)

I love Sew in Brighton. I've regularly attended sewing classes and made many of my own clothes as well as learning lots of new skills. I've also recently attended a class and made my own macrame pot hanger. Classes are always supportive and friendly. The included tea selection is great .The teachers are fab. I would highly recommend Sew in Brighton to beginners and advanced sewers alike.

Had a 1-2-1 session with Laura. It was great. We covered so much in the time, including how to use my machine (I'm a complete beginner). Definitely recommend for anyone starting out!

Really good classes. Very relaxing atmosphere and patient teaching. Also a friendly atmosphere as everyone there has a shared passion. For everything that's provided and the skill that's taught I find the classes great value for money.

Amazingly patient and knowledgeable teachers! I wanted to make an item of clothing for my mother (who is unwell) and I’ve never sewn anything in my life! I was advised to make a bag first to get some experience with a sewing machine and I managed to make it in 2.5 hours! Zero to hero in 2.5 hours!!! I’ve nearly finished the item of clothing and it looks amazing! So grateful to have the opportunity to make something and I can’t believe how much I’ve enjoyed the process. I think I’ve found a new hobby! The classes have great resources and the teachers are amazing!!!
