Like most parks the weather plays a big part in how much fun you'll have. If its a nice day you'll have a great time at Seven Acre Park. The views from the park over the city to Arthur's seat are fantastic. There is a great play park for the kids as well as a sculpture trail and some nice little woodland walks. There are several fields around the park with horses which is really nice so close to the city. Seven Acre park is a wee gem in the city. Highly recommended.

Lovely park for walking dogs and letting them off lead. Not fully fenced in but pretty enclosed. Really serene woodland path running next to the open green, with lots of wildlife, den building and animal sculptures. Dog enjoyed sniffing every inch of the woodland!
