Brilliant place for a dog walk. Usually find a parking space, although spaces are limited to about 30 cars. The whole forest is so peaceful and well signposted. The sculpture trail is really well done.

Really lovely walk just outside of Cardiff . The beautifully carved wooden sculptures are located amidst the trees and represent various members of the local wildlife population. Each sculpture has a little poem written on the side. A great place to take kids .

Lovely woodland walk. Plenty for children to see, look and touch! Great place to meet up with a family and a super beginning or ending to longer walks from the trail. Plenty of routes and maps available online too. Particularly good if the weather isn’t great as you are under the canopy of the wood and the number of twigs and sticks available means that there are endless possibilities for constructing, creating etc etc. Wonderful place
