I had my car serviced and the MOT done together and I was most impressed by this garage. Having recently moved to Hove, I just picked the garage out from the internet and I’m so glad I found this one. The whole process online from start to finish was simple. My booking was confirmed speedily and the staff were exceedingly pleasant and efficient when I took my car in. My bill was explained in detail and the charges were reasonable. I was very happy with the car wash, too, as the seagulls had used my car as a public lavatory. I will definitely be using this garage again and I would thoroughly recommend their services.

Been using these guys for a few years now for servicing and MOT's for all of my cars, classics and new. Their advice is always excellent, customer service is superb and they are genuinely nice and helpful people and well priced for work too! Definitely recommend them.

I’ve been a customer of SB motors for a number of years and they have always provided a fantastic service. Before using them I found the whole process of dealing with garages very stressful due to both being overcharged and also the attitude some garages have to female customers. I have never had any problems at SB motors with either of these issues. They are totally trustworthy and helpful and the whole process is transparent. They are always doing offers and deals and often chuck in a few little extras for free on services and MOTs. Plus they are great in an emergency and I’ve had a few of them!! A world away from my previous experiences. I normally worry about recommending places to friends and family just in case they don’t have such a good experience. But I never worry about doing that with them so now my friends all use them on my recommendation and even my parents bring their car down from London to have a service when they visit us!!

I've been going to SB motors for about 10 years. Carl is the reason I choose this mechanics because he is patient and honest and can explain technical concepts to me in a way that I understand. He always goes the extra mile Great work Carl :)

Paid for an interim service which I was told 'included brakes'. 2 months later I decided to check my brakes personally after the car was shuddering on braking. Found the rear brake discs completely gone and no pads at all - down to the metal. When I called they abruptly told me that, "Rear brakes are not included in an interim check" yet It takes no more than 30 seconds to check the rear brakes on my car. Some may argue a miscommunication issue here, I think there's room for improvement in the service SB provides. I think I am being fair with the 3 stars because by and large SB have been great, just maybe not on this occasion.
