Really positive experience very friendly staff. One lady in particular there always has a really nice thing to say when you go up to the counter. Makes the transaction feel a little more human and brightens your day. Thank you.

I am with Santander by default - mainly as I had an account with Safeway bank (remember those days!!) and with all the takeovers that have gone on now it is with Santander. Used other branches and not been particularly happy with them - mainly because they are over worked and under staffed and try as with all banks to do stuff and things either on line or over the telephone I had a bond that is due to expire and needed to call into a branch (the phone call centre were unable to deal with my enquiry so I needed to go to a branch -it was also at a quieter time of day and was deal with by the counter staff who sent a message to an advisor - his name was Michael - he came promptly and dealt with my enquiry as promptly as can he can As with things to be dealt with promptly you have to go with all the relevant paperwork (account details and proof of ID - so make sure if you are dealing with sensitive information you take all this (account details and ID such as a passport or driving license and take a utility bill or bank statement in your name just in case!! I still need to deal with other branches of Santander as they will be closer t what ever other things I am dealing with This visit proved to be a refreshing experience

Everytime I have gone there's been a small queue, but the staff are very quick at dealing with enquiries. Especially when they can teach you to use the automated machines instead.

Great service in particular thank you Michael for all your help with arranging my daughters first bank account. It was not straight forward but you were really helpful and have enabled her first months salary to be paid into her new bank account in time for Christmas.
