I have been at this surgery for years and have been calling exact at 8.45 to see my Doctor for a week and they usually have very limited time, I am suffering from massive headaches for nearly two weeks, They use to be good, very disappointed.

Phone up early and can get an appointment pretty soon after. Have had to wait a little longer than the time I'm given on each occasion with both myself and gf but seems par for the course in GP surgery (docked one star for that) Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Parking can be a little difficult Plenty of seating for the size of the practice. Toilets clean and presentable

Visited this surgery yesterday as a visitor to the area with a painfull throat infection. The lady on the reception asked me to fill out a simple form and after a quick phone call to one of the doctors I was seen within minutes of arrival. I walked out with the prescription for the antibiotics that I required so well done to everyone at this surgery, you are a credit to the NHS.

5/ 5

My family were patients for 3-4 years before moving out of Glasgow, never had a problem getting appointments, and had universally good treatment from Dr. Lawson + Dr. MacNeill in particular, but also the nursing team and health visitor for my daughter. GPs were extremely proactive at feeding back results and contacting us which always minimised anxiety. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

I nearly died because of Dr McNeil and another doctor at this surgery failing to take my symptoms seriously for almost a year. I was reporting an array of issues with my breathing and chest but Dr McNeil repeatedly accused me of just being anxious, imagining my symptoms, and refused to investigate further. I felt completely humiliated, let down and gaslit. I eventually switched to a new GP out of frustration who was immediately shocked at the negligence of this surgery and their lack of investigation of my symptoms. They quickly sent me for a number of tests and I was diagnosed with a serious heart condition that could have killed me if I'd stayed with Dr McNeil. I'm now doing much better, no thanks to Sandyford Surgery. They are blatantly negligent, potentially dangerously so, and ought to be investigated.

Dr Roderick McNeil refused to listen to my concerns and started me on a medication that nearly killed me. Now I've found doctors and a treatment plan to offset the last 5 years of illness at Ashton. This guy needs to be held accountable for his arrogance. Everyone else I've seen here was fine though and the receptionists and nurses are nice.

I am leaving surgery as moving out of Glasgow. Was registered there for almost 4 years. I always found the service to be excellent. Repeat prescriptions worked very well with the reception staff, I had some vaccinations from one of the nurses, all good. However, I would highlight two GPs, Dr Roddy MacNeill and Dr Christine Crawford as being two of the best I have consulted. They were experienced, listened and provided options.
