Very friendly and well run site. Excellent view onto Sarum hill with great cycle/path for easy access to Salisbury. Great for dogs. Ideal location for many day trips means it makes a great base for a longer stay. Only complaint would be shower temperature which varied between cubicles and in the main could be hotter.

Very clean and tidy site with recently refurbished blocks. Plenty of staff on hand. Great view of the original Salisbury as this is at the foot of the ancient iron age hill fort. Plenty of opportunity for cyclists, found it was a great Base to reach Stone Henge. Top field is level but mostly used for vans and motorhomes, bottom field starts flat near the central break hedge and gets quite a steep slope so chocks are necessary for trailer tents and motorhomes. Tents will probably prefer to pitch with your feet facing the valley. Lovely town, amazing Cathedral, recommend if you get in early to nab a top field pitch. Thoroughly recommend if using as a Base to cycle the countryside. For a long day out to set you up, recommend breakfast at the Harvester around the corner.

Very good location, great for walks into Salisbury, Old Sarum and along the river Avon valley. My only very minor complaint would be the lack of benches around the site and absolutely no where to tie our dog while popping into the loos block. Staff we met were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The bus back from town was much apprieciated on a couple of occasions.
