Not sure why this place is scored so low. For a European mini mart this place is decently priced and easy to get to! The staff are friendly and happy to take you to the food you’re looking for. The store itself has a wide variety of fresh produce and dairy, some frozen foods and refrigerated. Fresh bread and danishes. Booze is behind the counter, while beer and wine are not.

Called up looking for assistance, was met with a rude employee with little time to talk. Wont be returning.

As the 3 star review sugests 'its okay' - certainly very handy for picking up a snack to take into the cinema next door, a lunch deal or random grocery item. The major disadvantage is the teeny shop size meaning that at peak times it's just a bit too busy. Has both manned and self service tills, and a small bakery area.

Went in and out this Sainsbury's a couple of times and got called a Packi!!!! for no giving money to the shops resident Jackie (coughs ) beggar. Its no if I was in and out of there in a flash sports car or wearing designer clothes. A lot of folk of all creds are struggling these days. . I was minding my own business when he turned on me for going about my own business , its funny how he does not level the same accusations at his own kind(or the way he sees that in his own narrow little mind ) who pass him by daily without a word or a penny day in day out. . I suppose a Bigot always needs an excuse and a scapegoat. He's sitting out in his blue top asking for coin then when he doesn't get any he singles me out for a bit of the old verbal puke . As the city is a lot more diverse these days I wouldn't be surprised if he was not pulling that old rancid chestnut on anyone of a certain colour who does not give him something. Supermarkets should take a firmer hand against those unfortunates who they let sit outside their store and how they conduct themselves with shoppers and passers by . Intimidating behaviour no doubt could have an effect on people shopping there if they feel they are going to be singled out for racist behaviour because of an irate white guy who's own community , government and society are a significant contributing , (the vast majority of whom are white)factor for his decrepit state of being. In addition to his own actions.
