Sainsbury’s Local bath

Very good for popping in and buying a few things. Makes good use of a lack of space

Service good. Never had a bad experience shopping here. The only negatively I could mention are the prices and specifically the fact that they are more than the large stores lol what's that about?

Whilst the staff that they do have are very nice and approachable, I find it so frustrating that Sainsbury's appear to have taken their "live well for less" slogan and are applying it to their staffing levels as well. I cannot recall a time in recent memory where they have actually had a member of staff assigned to self-service checkouts. This means that when I have been purchasing an item that required approval, or if I have encountered an issue during my transaction then I have had to wait whilst they ring the bell to summon a member of staff to the checkouts. In the meantime it has on occasions been quicker to abandon the self-service checkout and instead join the queue for the (usually one or two) real checkouts that they have in operation. For me, this is a frustration of both of the Sainsbury's Local branches in Bath, hence the fact that both branches have similar reviews from myself!

All good. Nearly everything one needs and stays open late. Staff are very good too. Very helpful indeed

Great little store. Slightly overcrowed down the aisles. Helpful staff. Great location. Never buses and train station. Easy access.

Current Security guard has work at other branches and followed me around for no apparent reason. The shop is good but I do dread going in when this particular guard is on duty as they do give me a second glance even when I am paying at the check out?

Doesn't look very big from the outside but it's actually a decent size. Well stocked and a good selection of vegan food. Great location, right in the centre of Bath.

Handy to use instead of the main one in Green Park Station.
