This Sainsbury's is fine. It has a good few sections that you wouldn't expect to see in one of these smaller "express" versions of supermarkets, it is fast paced due to its location, usually very busy. It could definitely do with having more pasta salads etc in the section where you can put together your own boxed salad/pasta as this is often empty shortly after 2. They really should refill it a little! Otherwise expect to find what you would typically find in a mini-supermarket in the city center.

Ok it's a supermarket.. however just of St Andrews square is very central. This makes the hot food appreciated. Tobacco, Booze snacks and a reasonable selection of quick teas. Also lottery and magazines. It's walking distance from Waverley and the bus station - all this with Sainsbury's prices!

Convenient location but what really gets me is the man (who I think is the manager) with gray hair and glasses that thinks it’s acceptable to walk around with his mask tucked under his chin, absolute weapon of a man. Have had to speak to him on another occasion many years ago and quite frankly I am surprised he is still their considering how useless he was at dealing with my query but at a bare minimum, wear your mask over your face! 😡
