Limited availability, lacking in cleanliness, and overall in need of improvement. Great location, surrounded by historical interest. Has smart shop, which is smart when the stores WiFi is actually working properly (we had intermittent issues). Good for a quick stop but would be stressful trying to do a full weeks shop, will likely use the other Bath store for that.

The waste is indescribable. Too much choice. Lovely team of staff, but the company have serious issues. The staff are always friendly and please excuse me, it's nothing personal. 🌎🔥😭🧐 ⭐🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️ as with every major supermarket in the UK @Sainsburys could do massively more to cut their waste. You HAVE TO stop using single-use packaging. It needs to end now not "in the future" at some vague far off time. People and the planet need to see real change immediately. Refill glass bottles with deposits Refill jars with deposits Refill hard plastics with deposits Sell ALL your dried goods loose per kilo (It's also fairer for single people that way) Stop shrink wrapping everything Sell meat and fresh produce in Returnable boxes It's not hard, it's just different Go zero waste. Support a truly circular economy not a monetarist one. If you want to know how, ask Scoop. Or Harvest. Or Essential wholefoods Or me I'm a waste reduction specialist. If you respond with something truly tangible I'll give you five stars in the meantime please accept my five hearts ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Normally a very good store, bit many staff have been very rude during covid to disabled people who have made exemption or need their carer with them. Also the Christmas selection was utterly woeful and frequently out of stock. Only leaving it this high as its usually better.
