5/ 5

Reception was fantastic. Friendly warm and helpful. We weren't pleased with the room but were quickly moved to a different room. The room is neat and spacious. Plenty of seating in lobby and restaurant & bar looked good although we ate local. Rates were also great. Deserts was a let down I ordered a Sunday and it was nothing but appalling not worth the $12 they charged. Our TV 's LCD went funny and they replaced it within 10min. Overall really happy with Rydges

I would like to share my poor experience during breakfast at this hotel; it was very disappointing.

1/ 5

I would like to share my poor experience during breakfast at this hotel; it was very disappointing. $35 per adult and there was only instant coffee available as their coffee machine is broken? There is a coffee machine at the front but not part of breakfast and you had to pay $4.50 extra!!! to get a decent coffee. Take some responsibly! I would expect better from the Rydges??? Staff was not helpful or keen to help and resolve this; definitely guest experience is not their priority here! Most breakfast dishes were fried and the choice was poor. We won’t be eating at the hotel again. There are plenty of lovely cafes around where you get better quality, with proper coffee for better value.

Good value for money all things considered. Tennis courts helped us spend the time when it was rainy. Decent size pool which is rare this central. A comfy 10 min walk to bars and restaurants

I'll start by saying it was ok for the money. Fairly clean, fairly well presented. Room sizes pretty

2/ 5

I'll start by saying it was ok for the money. Fairly clean, fairly well presented. Room sizes pretty good. Balconies too small to sit at comfortably and with a super chunky handrail at eye height when you are sitting. We asked for our room to be made up three days in a row. It did not happen once. Phone calls to reception and you are put on hold for 10 minutes. Quicker to go down stairs. Except out of the three lifts available, there are only ever 1 or 2 in use, so it's glacially slow getting up or down some times. Management needs to have a good look at the guest experience at the moment.
