5/ 5

Great place to wander about with or without dogs. Very varied scenery, with open grass near to main car park (pay and display) and wooded area on left of entrance drive. Here you can walk down to Frankby Mere and then follow the path through to Thurstaton Common. From the main car park you can venture through the woods and on to Thor's Stone. If you go past this, you can continue walking up to Thurstaton Hill that gives you tremendous view across Wirral and the North Wales coast. A great place to visit.
