Somewhat pricey but definitely worth it! Audio guide is included and although we normally prefer to skip those, I'm glad we listened to these. The information is relevant and not too fussy, with a sprinkling of fun details. The ship itself is well maintained and there's plenty to see, especially for those interested in the royal family.

Beautifully presented history of a very famous yacht. It's kept in pristine shape. Nice audio guide with museum-like narration. The tea room is a nice place to take a break halfway through the walking tour of all 5 decks

Really interesting with audio guide. Just enough information without getting bogged down in detail.

Very interesting few hours. £16.50 per adult. A great snapshot of a royal era. Excellent and helpful staff. I suspect the tour only covers about 50% of the ship. Recommended.

Loved my visit here. Luckily we were first in the queue and hardly saw anyone else!! That meant you could have a good look around! Some areas quite restricted but it was nice to get a feel for life on the yacht! The lady at the fudge kiosk was lovely and so friendly. In fact all the staff were. Recommended whilst in Edinburgh

Loved it. A real slice of royal history up close and personal. Our 10 year old son was not so keen but there was a spot the corgi challenge which he liked. The tea room is splendid. We had the scones with clotted cream and jam and coffee. Absolutely gorgeous! Very good souvenir shop to. Well worth the visit.

Lovely place! Very interesting audio guide provided to accompany the tour of the interiors of the Yacht. Very well preserved exhibits including original furniture from the Victoria and Albert Yacht, as well as many previous yachts. The staff takes great care to maintain social distancing and sanitary regimes. I had a great trip and would love to visit again. Tea in the Royal Tea Room is a must! 😊

For me personally this is THE number 1 attraction in Edinburgh. Don't get me wrong, the castle and open top bus tours are great but this is just awesome. Set out in a logical and meaningful way, this floating masterpiece is so elegantly laid out. As you work your way through the decks, you can see where HM the Queen slept during her royal visits with the duke. You can see the immaculate dining facilities. You can even see where the postman used to sort the mail! All in all a fantastic visit - make use of the majestic bus tour company to get there. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely brilliant. Early start better as we went at 10am and nice and quiet. Do not have a big breakfast if doing early morning tour as tea room not far from beginning. Scones, cakes, hot and soft drinks morning and then lunch afternoon. For me it would have been too far to come back for lunch as it is a very long and in depth ship to explore. Highly recommended

Very interesting and worthwhile visit. No extra charge for very informative tour handset. Lovely cream tea in the cafe at the top of the ship. Informed that the crew were charged 22p to launder a shirt soiled in service? That's pretty mean, I imagine this wouldn't happen on the Nimitz.
