Royal United Hospital bath

My son had a planned operation a few weeks ago and the whole team were amazing with him. Had to go back to A&E with an appointment to check it a few days later as it wasn’t healing great and we only had to wait 5 mins in A&E. All very informative and friendly staff.

Staff very helpful, not so sure about entrance cafe, Landsdowne Restaurant, food very good, prices ok for homemade food, get a good portion, or I was lucky!! Car parking expensive for long stay. Park and ride might be easier. Hope this is of help.

Wasn't there by choice but was treated quickly and professionally brilliant service

After my short stay I'd like say I was treated very well, the staff were extremely pleasant all the time. Food was 1st class too.

I would like to give special thanks to Leanna and Clementine in the scan department for their friendliness, care and professional approach during an appointment I had last month. These lovely ladies both went out of their way to put me at ease, which I really appreciated. It was a positive experience to be seen at RUH Bath, the first time I had been there. Unlike other hospitals, the overall impression I received was of a very busy hospital but managed well and running with a high degree of efficiency. It is a credit to the NHS. Thank you so much.

Thought it was appropriate to share information about my hospital admission to my abusive ex-partner for no reason and then lied about it for 6 months. If your medical information being confidential is important to you, I'd try to go somewhere else.

Fantastic care! I have had to see both eye casualty and gynaecology in the past 2 months for emergencies and despite being incredibly busy, this has not impacted their care in either departments. I am so thankful for everything they have done. Not only are the staff great at what they do, but they're so kind and friendly during what was a scary situation for me. Incredible team!

Busy hospital with limited parking, been to many of the wards and departments at one time or another and almost without exception the staff are caring and friendly

Utterly disappointed with how things were dealt with after receiving an X-ray. I seen the nurse and the nurse questioned me why hadn’t I gone to my local hospital and the reason I hadn’t gone to my local hospital due to working away and she then stated can’t you Welsh stay your side of the bridge. I stated to her sorry but I work for a company in Bristol so I will go where ever my boss tells me where my work is at and I am not going to drive 90+ mile to go to my local hospital while I work away. I was given a leaflet how to deal with strains and sprains for my hand and then go to my local hospital 2 weeks to the date of the injury happening. I have contact my local doctors to see if a referral has been put through and nothing has been logged about me going to bath hospital but shepton minors that I had gone to before hand (X-ray machine was turned off after 4 o'clock so I was sent up to bath) has sent a letter to my doctors so state I have been there. Absolutely appalled how things have felt with. I have to go through the process all again due to bath not logging that I have been there.
