Absolutely terrible, textbook case of institutional abuse. Basic rights are denied, and patients with capacity are purposefully agitated so they can be sectioned and lose their right. Cqc needs to get involved ASAP

2 weeks ago a family member of mine was sectioned and placed at hamtun ward. He was discharged today in the exact state he went in, but they seem to think he's completely fine. Not one of them listened to our concerns and discharged him without even telling us.They will be held 100% responsible if anything happens, as he's just as phsycotic if not more than he was when he went in. He's now apparantly related to the Krays!

Have to repeatedly call for my wife's diagnosis and they always say the doctor will come next week and then do the diagnosis. mental health of patients left to their own misery. I am writing to the board for a proper investigation to be conducted on how each patient has been treated and how long they take to receive their medication and diagnosis

Have had to repeatedly chase up updates regarding my Wife’s medication. Every staff member my Wife and I have spoke to seem to give different information every time. It has been nothing but false promise after false promise. They have apologised after they admitted that they had not done enough or acted quick enough to help my Wife regarding her medication. Yet despite that I had to push for them to organise a meds review and after a lot of pressure they were finally able to fit my Wife in yesterday for a review and we were told as it was too late in the day to get the meds on the same day, they would be available no later than today and there would be someone available to drop the meds off to us this morning. This is something I had confirmed several times and even the psychiatrist said “that will be no problem. We have several practitioners travelling round Southampton to people all day for visits so getting one of them to drop these round will be fine.” After hearing nothing this morning I have had to chase this up again this afternoon. The person on the phone could not give me any information about this but asked if it would be ok for someone to call me back. Of course I received no call back but instead a text that stated I can collect the medication from Antelope house after 17:30. I called them again and they admitted that they do no have the “man power” to get the medication to us and it cannot be available before 17:30 as the medication was ordered too late to be able to get it sooner. Antelope house have been told several times that my Wife and I do not drive and we have 3 young children in the house and I am now being put in a situation where I need to leave my Wife, who doesn’t want to live anymore, at home alone with the kids or send my Wife on her own to get her meds from Antelope house via bus or taxi, neither of which I am happy or comfortable with at all. After being failed by Antelope house numerous times I just have to hope and pray that they actually do have the medication ready for me to pick up after 17:30 today because otherwise all Antelope house have been able to achieve up to this point is further impacting my Wife’s mental health for the worse - giving her less hope that she can get better and more belief that she is not worth anyone’s time. The cherry on top is that they have also managed to quadruple my stress levels and impact my mental health for the worse too.
