Had to have a colonoscopy, from visiting the doctor, blood test, and having the examination all within 2 weeks, speaks well of the NHS but in particular the Royal Derby. The care and attention of first the nurse Simon Swaby through to the 2 Endoscopists Anna Hall and Helen Gibbs who were very gentle and professional, also helps they have a bit of humour.

4/ 5

My husband is/was being treated here for cml, overall brilliant care by nurses and specialists, but today after spending nearly 3 hours again to have a central line fitted the doctors who sign these patients off are letting their patients and staff down by not responding quick enough to discharge patients who have been waiting a long time. We all appreciate that you have ward rounds and a global pandemic but patients want to get out quicker due to covid fear.
