Absolutely love coming here. The staff are great. The whole place is steeped in history it's a shame the owners aren't spending money on restoration. The bar setting is restful. You can sit and enjoy a drink without the drone of banging music in the afternoons. Swimming pool is relaxing.(period style which I like as its in keeping) the park and beach are only a short walk which is a great day out in themselves

5/ 5

I stayed at the Royal Bath Hotel for three nights after finding a cheap deal through Groupon. I saw that there were a lot of really bad reviews, but decided to take a gamble - And it definitely paid off. My room was clean and spacious. The buffet breakfast and dinner were really good, better than I expected. The staff were friendly and helpful in my experience. The building and decor is very old fashioned, but I didn't have a problem with this. The hotel is situated in an ideal location, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. The only complaint I had was the parking. The hotel does not have its own car park. There is a public car park just next door, but it is a bit pricey at £20 for 24 hours. I would happily stay here again.

This is the worst stay in the hotel I have ever experienced The only good thing about the hotel is that it looks nice from the outside and have a great location Rooms are small for the price. Overall inside needs major renovation and good clean. The reception customers service it’s quite poor as well. There is no available car park at the hotel, there wasn’t any toiletries and NO BIBLE in any of the hotel rooms. I won’t be staying here ever again

Not as bad as some of the reviews say, breakfast was nice, staff were fairly friendly. But the room was awful for the price. Very very small with a tiny "double" bed. It was clean enough but had next to no place to put clothes. It was a small box with no ventilation so got very warm in the night and wasn't serviced once in the few days we were there.

Too many reasons for words. What a great shame that this once beautiful hotel has become more of a hostel than a hotel. I’m a man on my own who looked forward to coming to Bournemouth, having come for many years and especially looking forward to staying at the Royal Bath. My room hasn’t been cleaned for a week, I have a bin full of rubbish and a bath full of wet towels which I have had to reuse every day for a full week and I paid just short of £600.00 for this. Basically I would never stay here again, it is an insult to have guests staying. No Management, no telephones in the rooms, brown water out of the taps and a leaking bath
