Nice little place! very close to bars, clubs and food places. The staff were friendly. There is a bowling alley bar downstairs so you get a lot of outside noise at night and traffic noise in the morning. Which is the only problem.

It's a good hostel with pavilion type facilities and a big lounge and living area to watch TV, play table tennis and an arcade machine with a hunting game. The bathrooms were a bit uncleaned to say the least but you can always wander around upstairs to the rest of the floors until you find a toilet that satisfies the basic hygiene standards. It has nice shower booths on the second floor and the breakfast is free. I found the bed quite comfortable and the linings were cleaned. Good value for money to spend a few nights in Bristol.

Really cheap, amazing location, friendly staff and comfy beds. Unfortunately it's on top of a bar which played loud bassy music till the early hours. Not an issue for me as I have rubbish hearing/deep sleeper, my mates hated it though.

If you stay here you won’t be able too sleep. My bed is currently shaking for the 2nd night running. Looks like I won’t be sleeping for the 2nd night in a row. Worst place in whole of england.

the price is amazing and if you're a very heavy sleeper this is for you! unfortunately the outside noise is just too much.. we were woken up at 4am by loud music that seemed to come from the cafe (although this could've been outside of the hostel) and then loud crashing noises from downstairs at 8am. i don't think this is necessarily the hostel's fault and the staff are kind and welcoming - this just isn't the most supervised place and it feels like you're in an abandoned hotel at night, busy noisy tunnel by day. has so much to offer otherwise!! stay here in cooler weather so you can close the windows 👍

Chilled relaxed. Great staff. Loved the sheets and clean toilets/showers (probably coz wasn't too busy). 4 stars coz there's no bedside lamp(picky I know, 5 stars come hard)... there are sockets tho.

I spent £35 for staying one night and I didn't get a towel, even though I asked for it before arrival. There is not staff working at the hostel after 7pm so the noise at late hours cannot be controlled. Phone line isn't available at any hour, even when there is staff working. I had a good stay 2 years ago in this place, but it seems the service provided is being overly reduced to Covid.
