Don't understand some of the reviews of this place as regards not being able to get an appointment. If you go to the practice before 10am you'll get an appointment that day pretty much guaranteed. I don't know any other doctors surgery that consistently will see you same day. I've been registered here for well over 7 years and before the move to the new building it could be a nightmare and rarely did you actually see a doctor (mostly nurse practitioners) but now that's all changed. Staff are pleasant, appointments are plentiful. Walk in works brilliantly (walk in get a time slot come back at that time you get seen). I've been about 4 times in the last few months. Every time I saw a doctor and every time I got seen the same day. Can't fault it.

Called to book an appointment for an asthma review...told I'd been unregistered. Claimed they tried to contact me via phone and letter - all complete lies. They just removed me from their records for no reason. Apparently they thought I'd moved despite it only having been 3 months since my last visit. Not in the least bit apologetic.

The actual doctors are brilliant! However I have some other reservations. The walk-in clinic is great in that you can get an appointment the same day. However, you check yourself in and then they tell you the approximate time that you'll be seen and that you can go away and come back again but if you're feeling really unwell, are elderly/infirm, don't have a car or have children in tow then you have the choice of waiting around for maybe hours without the comforts of home whilst feeling ill and trying to entertain yourself/children or face the difficulty of going home again and returning, whilst wasting fuel, causing pollution/congestion. WHY CAN'T YOU PHONE UP TO GET ON THE WAITING LIST! Also, when my wife had just found out that she was pregnant, she phoned for an appointment and the reception staff asked her if she was wanted to have an abortion. THE RECEPTION STAFF NEED SOME TRAINING!

I transferred to Robin Lane in 2017 and have been very, very happy with the practice. The reception staff, nurses, doctors and the facilities are the best that I have experienced. The online system works extremely well and I'm able to book appointments, quite often, within 24 hours. I experienced an emergency in early December 2018. The reception staff processed me quickly through the walk-in system and the GP's identified the issue very quickly and admitted me to hospital where I received 2 operations. They followed up my post-operative care and have been absolutely marvellous. I made a full recovery and that was down to all of the practice staff. The staff are always happy, cheery and welcoming and, above all, they care about their patients. Thank you to all the staff at Robin Lane.

Staff never answer the phone. I get that they are busy but there are people who really need help. They need to hire another staff member to help. my Grandparents have suffered because of their lack of organisation. They do seem friendly though...
