A lovely day out with my grandchildren. The people working on the fair were lovely. There was a young boy who was disabled and blind and they let him go on the big rides with his brother they just slowed them right down. It was lovely to see him being able to join in with able bodied people. I don't know who owns the fair but they should be proud of there workers.

Attending Saltaire Festival. I was impressed by the variety of trees here. Everything looked very well kept. The lush, trimmed grass was enviable! Blatantly a lot of care goes into this lovely, well-established Park which is a joy to stroll into.

Beautiful park. Very well looked after and the flowers are a plenty. You have a children’s park, a cafe, it’s flat with paths, a canal boat selling food and drink. But best of all there is a pub over looking the river serving drink and food. We do a big circular including Roberts park, Shipley tram, Shipley Glen, through the woods, along the river, through hirst woods and then back along the canal for a well deserved drink at the boat house. Or just have a Picnic, Kids can play safely. There is a toilet but only open when the the half moon cafe is open.
