I am aware that a one star review has been made of Angela Arnold’s services even though the person posting the review was not a client of Rix and Kay. As her actual clients, my wife and I found Angela to be professional, supportive, efficient, knowledgeable, and both quick and easy to communicate with, ably supported by Will and the team. Angela in no way did anything to hold up or delay an exchange of contracts as refered to in the previous review. What she did do was remain professional and focused even when the estate agent concerned dealing with both our sale and purchase began pressuring us to exchange and started talking about imaginary deadlines. Angela acted in our best interest at all times ensuring that she received all the necessary answers to her enquiries before advising us that we could exchange safely. We were never ready to exchange on 7th December because the responses to the enquiries Angela raised were received late and incomplete from the solicitors of the house we were purchasing. We decided due to some late personal information received that very unfortunately we could not proceed in the end to purchase; however this was entirely our choice and not any reflection on Angela and her professional services. If we could give Angela and her team six stars out of five, we would. Highly recommended.

A very good solicitor firm. Alistair and team assisted with a contested probate issue. A star down as some of the contact needed multiple chasing but then the reality is, law is complex and solicitors are busy. Supportive, conscientious and most importantly, human interaction at a time when a little humour was needed. Highly recommended.
