Fantastic place to visit. Lots of different types of vehicles to see from back in the day, cars, trams, buses, trains, boats and clothing too. There is a mock-up street of Glasgow in the museum too with cobbled stones and pavements, shops, pubs, photographers, the underground subway. Great place with great atmosphere. There is a cafe and a really good souvenir shop too. Would definitely recommend to visit and it's free, just donate at least £5 if you want too, well worth it.

Fun museum for a great look at transport history and Glasgow history. We especially liked the recreated street with old shops. I wish there had been a bit of direction though with arrows on the floor pointing to different sections of the museum or something like that, as it’s basically just a big room and you can easily miss something.

Amazing place, and not just because it is free. The exhibits are in excellent condition with enough info, not to overwhelm. Lots of interaction to keep children interested and parents able to look around too. The only negative, in my opinion, is the amount of single use items in the wee cafe, but I am optimistic this will change soon as Glasgow is such a forward thinking city.

I don't usually like museums, however this is an exception. My partner and I were exploring Glasgow for the weekend with no expectations set. Luckily, we were nearby so decided to give it a go. The museum is very bright and clean and there is so much to look at! There's a huge range of motorbikes, cars, trains etc. What I liked most was probably their cafe - it overlooks the river which is very relaxing. Their sandwiches are yummy and reasonably priced too!

Nice to go here and just watch the water. Was down with my girlfriend and we enjoyed a nice night. It was busy with lots of people about, very comfortable and good atmosphere. Parking was adequate and it is easy to access from the dual carriageway. There are other venues nearby which are also easy to walk too.

Great museum. Great building. Great restaurant, staff, food. Worth a visit. Just take real money for the parking machines or use public transport. The machines are so antiquated, why don't they use contactless? Great museum, did I say it was FREE entry?? Great location.

Enjoyable experience and great that it's free to attend. The museum was well laid out and if you're into transport then it's a great experience. Particularly enjoyed the ship and the street from the past. Would recommend, especially if you have little ones. It could have had a little bit more interactivity for me.

Great day out with the family. Easy to get to, lots of parking (pay with coins or through the Ringo app) Inside there are lots of cars, bikes, trains and more to keep the kids going. then there is the old ship outside as well you can board. The kids really loved this. After some exploring into the Cafe, served quick, hot food, always a winner on a cold October day.

Fantastic museum. Great collection of cars, bikes, trains and other related items. The collection is fair size and items on display are rotated so you can multiple times and still see something new. Great for kids and adults alike with interactive stuff for all ages as well as detailed information in each item.
