I was in this clinic today with my mother and my son. There were no vacant seats in the waiting room so we waited in the next room sitting on the floor. After some time a woman came to me and said that my child was disturbing everyone and it would be better if I took him for a walk. My son is 2.5 years old, he did not approach or accost anyone, he played with me and my mother. I am shocked that someone treated my child and me in this way. I did not think that laughter and fun of a 2.5-year-old child can disturb others. On the wall was information about no dogs allowed not children

The building hosts two practices: Llandaff Fields and Taff Riverside practice. Neither practice will take appointments but they do walk-in between 8:30 and 10am.

Receptionists and practise manager at this surgery are a disgrace. No manners or self respect what so ever. They behave like animals. One time it was so bad i pointed out to the receptionist her mistake and incompetance, politely, and then the Practise manager came on the phone shouting down at me, it was absolutely disgusting, and when she was proven wrong she hung up the phone. Not to mention all the dirogotory signs directed at patients all across the walls. Things have only slightly improved ever since they introduced the walk in appointments. If it wasn’t for 1 doctor who I've been with for 20 odd years i would have left this sorry excuse for a surgery a long time ago.

This review is for the Llandaff side of the doctors, in terms of doctors receptionist and all other staff the service is great, however the booking system is horrendous, I was calling this morning to a busy line, this can’t be helped I understand that but 8:35 I was told all slots were taken for today! I really hope with Penhill closing that more appointments become available in this surgery as currently it’s shocking. Again, please don’t take this negatively as the service is there good, however the appointment system is heavily flawed, as I am sure many other people who attend here would strongly agree with me.

I have been a patient here for 30 years, and have received nothing but excellent treatment throughout. Not only are the doctors and nurses outstanding, the reception staff and practice manager could not be more pleasant and helpful. They all go the extra mile to help out. I don't know where I would be without them. Huge thanks to all of them! Mark Evans

The worst thing about this place is the Riverside window reception staff. When you stand in front of the window before you speak, they look at you harshly and the treatment to wards us is bad One time, I made a mistake standing in the wrong window. I was new and I don't know. She screamed at me and plamed me violently, as if I had committed a crime, until I went to the car and cried.
