Rettie West End have managed to sell a flat for me at a price I am very happy with in a very short period of time. In fact less than a month from putting it on the Market and me accepting an offer on the property. Zoe Randall always kept me updated with what was happening and who was viewing and when they were viewing as well as updating me of the outcome of the viewing. In her absence Anne Sutherland also offered the same sterling service. All in all I am very pleased with Rettie West End and I would recommend them to anyone. Ian Cox very happy seller.

Very disappointed with the West End branch! Done a deal on a property, arranged mortgage and spent over £350 on a survery in the process. Date of entry was also set via solicitors. After date of entry day had passed I contacted my solicitors to find out why there was a delay. I was told the sellers were having difficulty releasing an inhibition on the property from the bank. I waited a month and contacted Rettie West End to find out what the delay was. I was told that they were unaware and thought the delay was from my end. After Rettie 'contacted' the sellers I was told that their bank refused to release the inhibition and they could no longer sell the property. A week ago I saw the same property for sale and now it is under offer! Rettie West End should be ashamed of themselves for messing me around! I should have been the first one contacted if there was a 'real' issue. It seems to me there was an underhand dealing going on. Rettie I am out of pocket by over £350 and have wasted my solicitors time. You are very unprofessional and I will not be dealing with you again anytime soon in the near future! Very disappointed! Shame on you Rettie West End!

Feel I should share my awful experience in Bryes road. Two female staff were very rude. One flat with several notes of interest went to a dealer - later checked & it was sold for under the Home report (something I was told never happens in West End) Then another in similiar area I couldn’t get to see, next thing it was reduced & sold! I would have paid full price. I have spoken to others who have been in here & they also said how impolite the staff were. Would advise to sell with other estate agents & trying to buy sounds as though a dealer might have better luck.

An excellent estate agency that knows the Glasgow West End property market better than any of their competitors. You can trust Rettie to give solid advice that works and I wouldn’t think about using anyone else to help me with my property sale.

We were lied to (in writing) that a property was going to closing at 24hr notice and then pressurised. It was such short notice that although we wanted to put an offer in we didn't have everything in order so didn't. I have since bumped into the owner of the property who said it never went to closing and this was a lie. They were pressurised to take an offer under what they wanted since no one else was interested. Crooks and feel sorry for the seller who accepted alot less than we were going to bid. BEWARE!

I was pressurised by the agency to put an contra offer and was given 4 hours, otherwise the other offer would be accepted. It was extremely stressful to do so given the short notice. After I gave the offer the Rettie didn't get back to me for another 20 hours and sent me an email saying that they are now going to the closing date, without explaining anything further, even to my lawyer. I have never came across such an erratic and unprofessional behaviour from the estate agency, who would only explain the reasons behind it after I voiced the concern. Those moves are definitely lacking an integrity and it was extremely unprofessional, although not illegal, to do so.

5/ 5

We recently sold a flat in the West End of Glasgow and were very pleased with the service from Rettie West End LLP. They were efficient, professional, good value and (a bit of a rarity these days) very pleasant to deal with. Special mentions to Jamie & Caroline who dealt with us directly. Thanks to both for making the process as painless as possible.
