I am very happy to have found a property to rent via Rettie & Co. The entire renting process was dealt with high professionalism. Several options were provided to arrange the viewing of the property. The viewing went very well; the agent responsible for the viewing was very helpful and friendly, and the property looked like the photos the agent had uploaded online. Then the actual renting process went very smoothly, with all my questions addressed promptly, completely and in a friendly manner. The final step was also managed brilliantly. I strongly recommend renting a property through Rettie & Co. for their high professionalism and human touch.

Again best letting agency I have used in 14 years living in Edinburgh. Daniel W, particularly, has been an exceptional Account Manager and great to know that when I needed any assistance at the property you were immediately available and dealt with the issue at the same speed.

We were most impressed with the service provided which I would describe as both personal and professional. Ros who dealt with all aspects of the transaction took time to meet and explain everything and was proactive throughout the process. Unlike another agent we had been liaising with the particulars and description of the property were extremely accurate.Before visiting the property marketed by Rettie & Co-and which is the one we chose -we had visited another agent ‘s property. The description and photos of that agent were extremely misleading and in reality the property-which on paper was most appealing-turned out to be more akin to one which might have appeared in the film Trainspotting. I would not hesitate to recommend Rettie & Co for their honesty, professionalism and high quality service ethos.

I have recently started renting a flat using Rettie and could not recommend them enough. The whole experience has been made so easy from start to finish. Chloe and her team have been unbelievably polite and helpful and truly make you feel like a valued customer.

Rettie & co (Ros specifically, but we also found the initial viewing with another member of staff to be equally good) have been an efficient, accommodating, and overall excellent letting agent to rent a flat from. From viewing to handing over keys, the process has been a smooth one, making moving from another city a breeze.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS We were recent tenants with Rettie and Co. and our experience has been very poor from the start. They provided a flat which was not professionally cleaned at the start of the tenancy and claimed cleaning costs at the end. Importantly, one of the kitchen appliances (washing machine) was not PAT tested prior to move in. The resulting fault tripped the electricity in the entire flat. Agents were completely unresponsive for several days resulting in us incurring high laundry bills during Covid. We ended up terminating our tenancy in one month.

Very pleased with the professional and premium service I've received with Rettie & Co so far, initially from Vikki S and more recently with Holly M who took over. They have always been quick to respond to my questions, reasonable and pragmatic in their handling of tenancies and the maintenance of the property itself, and as a business they seem to be very tuned in to the local market conditions and letting environment. I've had peace of mind since instructing Rettie and am rarely burdened with any hassle. Testimony of my words is that I've recommended Rettie to family who have since moved their properties across to them. Thanks team.

I've let my city centre flat through Rettie for 5 years and recently changed tenant. The quality of a the professional service from Rettie throughout has been excellent. Recently the sourcing of a new tenant and associated transition management was handled superbly by Rettie's Holly McLean who managed all the details including commissioning refurbishment work. Very pleased overall.

The assistance and service received has been top drawer! From day one Hugh, Pippa and support have been on top of everything, including assistance to find tradesmen during this torrid time. They have all been so responsive and without delay. We cannot praise enough the help we have received. Three words spring to mind, "Best in class".

Very impressed with the initial communication but later on, no response on plenty of messages left. Broken messages sent across. Wouldn't recommend for a landlord as an interested tenant was left with no comms. Wouldn't recommend as a tenant as the messages are not sure to have reached the landlord. I being both a landlord and a tenant, wouldn't recommend these cow boys EDIT: Called Karen on the given number at 10:19 on the 30th June 2021, it rang out without anyone answering.
