First class service from initial contact with an agent through to letting the property. I used them to manage all aspects of the let (repairs, cleaning, advertising, etc) and always found them to be friendly, professional and very efficient. They have surpassed my expectations in every area and my property was let much quicker than I anticipated. Would highly recommend!

Very good agency, they are always efficient and ready and our experience with them is absolutely good! Especially when we had some problems with furniture (last time it was our washing machine which was not working anymore) they sent us their staff promptly and in a very short time the problem has been solved! All the people are really nice and we are very happy to be with them

The property was spotless when we moved in and there were no issues with the moving out process. Use Rent Locally if you get the choice- there are a lot of cowboys out there!

After trying in vain for months to rent out my flat I contacted Rent Locally. We met at the flat and after some good advice as to how to improve my chances of letting ie decor, white goods,smoke alarms, realistic letting prices etc, I handed the keys over to them to deal with everything for me. Within 4 weeks, all the various works were carried out and I had 2 eager tenants ready to move in. I would highly recommend the whole team for their honesty, integrity and reliability.

RentLocally provides a great service for tenants and landlords. Their maintenance teams are very efficient. I would recommend this company to those wishing to rent out their property and to those looking for a property to rent.

I wanted to apply for a property, but they don’t seem to like answering questions and just want money within 24 hours with no contract and no mention deposit protection service. They get defensive and angry when you ask for exact figures or any fine details. To expect around £1000 with no contract and seemingly no deposit protection just screams dodgy! In the end they removed my application because I asked too many questions.

Living in this property in Edinburgh from last around 6 years paid rent by direct debit.from last 8 months requesting them to fix bathroom cose it was getting dangerous to get in bathroom first no body care for 8month .somebody suggest stop paying rent witch we did after stop rent they contect us they were not willing to give us other accommodation till they fix the problem they want us to stay in property while they ll fix we agree cose they made complicated for us Know it 10 days we are without shower and bathroom they dig up floor no body bother to contact us and tell us what’s going on I would not recommend to any one this agency especially from Edinburgh. Be careful guys if u have children still they don’t care……

Genuinely one of the worst experiences i've ever had and i never even got to see the property in person. I contact the estate agent about a particular property i was interested in, i had tried to ring the office but never got an answer so proceeded to email. I received a reply from Clare, offering a viewing the following Monday. As i unfortunately lived out of area i wasn't able to make it so asked if it was possible to view it another day. I was sent a virtual tour of the property that was very poor quality compared to the other video listed on the advert. However, still interested we asked if we could view the property on the Friday as we were doing over viewings. As this wasn't possible we still drove past the property. Clare informed us that it was still possible to apply for the property even though we hadn't done an in person viewing and to provide some basic information about our circumstances for the landlord to consider. On the Sunday, Clare responded saying the landlord was happy to proceed and that we would have to pay the full deposit within 24 hours and an additional deposit for the cat. We asked, how much the additional deposit was and Clare preceded to not tell us a figure but explain why it was needed. We enquired again and explained why we wanted to know figures and ensure that the initial deposit was refundable. After several emails back and forth and enquiring about whether this secured the property for us and whether there was any documentation we could read. We were informed that were not serious about the property and that our application was being withdrawn. At no point during any correspondence did Clare refer to us by name, show any interest in us having the property, was more focused on securing our money to an account that had no bearing on anything. The unprofessionalism is the main reason we didn't immediately pay the deposit. We were very much interested in the property, but having no regard for potential clients or willingness to answer questions is simply wrong. Having done some research into the company its very clear that the general running and care for customers has deteriorated greatly over the last couple of years, and if this experience is anything to go by then its very clear to see why. DO NOT GO BY JUST THESE REVIEWS! PLEASE SAFE YOURSELF STRESS AND READ THE OTHER PAGES OF REVIEWS FOR THEM!

Letting agent, no issues and provide a decent service

Moved in from Spain and setting everything up from abroad was the swiftest move I've ever done, this is the 5th country I move to. Quick response, very polite, professional. Couple of days after arriving to the apartment which was exactly like the photos (I found it bigger) found out the upper element of the oven was broken, and called them and in less dan couple days I had a new oven placed. Cant be happier with them, kudos to Rory for all the excellent communication and great service while in Spain and then here as well. Keep it up, 100% recommended!
