I hate to say it, as the seating area is quite small and I want to go back and get a seat, but this is the most fun cafe I’ve been to anywhere any time. Fabulous collections of items from the 1950s and 60s decorate the Tea Rooms and it’s loo. Truly magnificent service, food, drinks and ambience at stunningly modest prices, and a broccoli and Stilton soup as good as mine. Sat near visitors from New Zealand touring Britain and came across from Liverpool just for lunch here! I think they’ll come back from NZ just for another lunch here. Cakes here sadly have calories - probably why they taste so good.

Another amazing visit, the food is always made to perfection and the customer service is alway top notch. This visit i went for an Afternoon tea and I have to say WOW. All the cakes were freshly made, a nice warm Scone with jam and cream. Highly recommend if your in New Brighton you need to stop off just for the afternoon tea

Welcoming, Cosy & Friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Proper tea (leaves). Great food. The walls & ceilings, in fact every inch of this beautiful tea room is covered in nostalgia, so much to look at. The BEST tea room we have visited in long time.

Had a lovely afternoon tea today at Remember when, plenty of home made cakes. There was a choice of sandwich fillings, bread and tea, which I had not anticipated so it was a pleasant surprise. The room is filled with lots of nostalgic pictures of New Brighton, and different countries' flags on the ceiling. However, the old fashioned hair dryers which you used to sit under in the hairdressers are a wonderful idea and a talking point.
