Really what we all imagine a good used book shop to be. Packed shelves, full of interesting old volumes, overseen by a slightly dour and eccentric old chap. I can imagine this place hasn't changed in decades. Tends to be open pretty late, and it's a comfortable place to browse. The only downside is the temptation to buy more than one can carry!

Only recently found this book store and it is amazing, hundreds of different books for everyone's interest I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for 2nd hand books.

Purchased a dozen or so books. The owner had great insight and was accommodating. Will visit again when I’m in Liverpool.

Lovely hidden gem! Love this place, could have literally spend hours and hours in here. So much variation to choose from and some great finds. Such a beautiful bookstore and the guy who runs it is super nice.

Fantastic and characterful old book shop. An eclectic range of books, you need to poke around and have a good look and maybe you'll find something good. I love the open fire which the owners warm themselves by.
