Reeds Professional Cleaning and Alterations (N) Ltd manchester

I came in a few days ago, I got served by two young ladies with glasses one lady with blonde hair and a lady with dark hair. Both had outstanding customer service and really made me feel at ease and comfortable through out the whole experience. I could not recommend not only the company but the two assistants who helped me enough. Outstanding is an understatement. In regards to the alterations, the quality of work was as high as the customer service.

Nice staff but No Good With Denim. I can’t speak for their dressmaking capabilities but jeans having their hems amputated then sewn with a single turn are coming apart without even being worn. They offered to redo them but I can’t trust that the slack still in the length won’t just be wasted if their machines aren’t heavy duty enough for denim or their staff don’t know how to sew it. No thanks to the Levi’s store for the recommendation.

Is it normal to be charged £64.97 to shorten the arms and legs of a 2 piece suit and the arms of a shirt?? I paid the money upfront because I need the outfit for an event at the end of the month and I'd already hauled it to the Trafford Centre. However, don't think I will (or can afford!) to get similar work done here again. I'm just hoping the workmanship is second-to-none.

Got a chequered skirt taken up a few inches off the bottom and even though there were straight lines to follow from the chequered print, they still managed to make it the wonkiest line. One side of my skirt is at least 1 cm longer then the other side. It looks like a two year old has done it. Wasn’t cheap either!

I've been to a fair few tailors and alterations in the Manchester area and these guys are by far the best. I have a lot of suits, shirts and jeans altered here. Always a very friendly and enjoyable service provided and I appreciate the turnaround time. My items are always pressed, hung/folded and handed back to me in a way that shows they respect their customers and take pride in their work. I highly recommend them.

I visited Reeds to have my dress for my hen night altered. I tried it on in the store and it was pinned and altered perfectly, thank you!

I have used Reeds consistently over the past 5 years and have never been disappointed with their service. They always do a brilliant job, staff are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful and offer advice.

My local cleaners. Very good, very obliging. If only they would stay in one place.
