Went here for lunch and drinks with a couple of friends. Lovely place, had a really nice atmosphere, staff were pleasant. Food was good, reasonable prices. £16.95 for a bottle of Chardonnay so not overly priced for a hotel. Will definitely go again.

Excellent value for money. Excellent location: close to the promenade, less than 5 minutes to the metro. Nearby: a good bar. The room has everything you need: a kettle, fridge, microwave, even slippers). I was very pleased that we were allowed to leave the suitcase not only before checking in, but also after: we checked out at 11.00, and the suitcase was in the hotel until 22.00! A great option for those who come for a walk, see the sights and who need a hotel only to spend the night.

The location is very convenient. Lots of amenities within walking distance. The room I had was nice and quiet. There was a bar across the lane which could get a bit noisy but closing the window shut out all the racket. It was a bit warm when I was there so unfortunately the window couldn't always be kept shut. A fan would have been nice. I thought the room was just fine. I have read where some guests have complained about dated decor. If it's not your home then does it really matter if it is or not? The internet was fast and I could connect multiple devices with no issues. TV was also available with lots of channels. The continental breakfast was not fancy, but there were sufficient choices in my opinion and you could have as much as you wanted.

Not quite there yet. The hotel on the surface looks great. Stylish entrance with well positioned furniture but scratch the surface and it seems it has stalled. I was unfortunately put in one of their older rooms....one that has black mould and stapled on wallpaper (I think maybe due to the mould not allowing the paste to stick). The staff aren't friendly bar the blond lady at breakfast and the blond lady at reception. Upon check-in, it felt like I inconvenienced them to be able to check in. No politeness nor any information about breakfast, or anything to that matter. I feel the phone call she was holding on for was worth more than me. The continental breakfast is meagre. Ham, small packs of cheese and coffee meant for Thumberlina(insert TM here). It feels like the management have took the theme of 'we are in London, let's give mediocre and charge the earth'. Could be so much better.
