This school ruined my mental health. There was bullying aimed at me and my other friends who were shy. I developed such bad social anxiety I had to start therapy. I would hold so much tension in my shoulders when at school from constantly being anxious that my muscles always ached. I was in so much pain I had to get a CT scan because they thought something was wrong with me. Even after updating the school on my situation with anxiety they barely did anything but give me a card saying I could leave the class if I was having a panic attack. Even though I never made it obvious I was having a panic attack so never once used it as I hated making a scene. They never did anything that would actually help me. Most of the teachers either completely ignored me or were rude to me for no reason. I only had a few good teachers. I had many times put my hand up for a whole lesson to never have someone come to help me. Then be scolded for not getting much of my work done when I am a slow learner and would have just needed a little more of an explanation to help me get my work done. I really don't recommend this school. Especially if your a good, quiet kid as you will go completely under the radar. They only ever help and reward the kids who are usually rude or disruptive.

5/ 5

This school has gone from strength to strength since my son began studying at the school in 2010. The support he has received has been of an exceptionally high standard and it is clear that students know what they need to do to reach their targets. My son has had excellent opportunities both inside and out of the classroom, which has helped him to become more confident. For him, it was an easy decision to go on to study at the Sixth Form, where he is continuing to receive excellent support.
