Original review— Time wasters avoid at all costs. John the manager needs to get some training on customer service. Response to reply— Liars John gave me an appointment with Roxy and I explained problems with wearing mask as I have an exemption. John said if it was a problem he will contact me. I was not contacted. Went to the appointment and the cashier asked me why I was not wearing a mask and I explained everything. She took my temperature told me to hang up my jacket and told me to sit down. She came out 10 minutes later and said Roxy was not informed about my conversation with John the Liar. I explained to the cashier what happened and she told me to hold on and got on the phone to John the Liar. He blankly said I was told to call up and check if it was ok with Roxy. Does not seem believable why would a customer told to phone back after an appointment is made? is that not the manager's job after all he is the manager. I told cashier I wanted to put a complaint in she told me the other manager John's wife had gone out to lunch and will sort out the problem when she returned I sat in salon and waited while the meter ran outside. they could have just said we can't do it instead I sat there for 20 mins finally John's wife came back and told cashier to hand be a price list with their email on it. lol put in a complaint to John the manager about John the Manager. Left and said I will put up a review about the misinformation and sitting around waiting just to be handed a form with email on it. I have been using the Royal Exchange Square and George Square branches for 9 years now and they have both been fantastic. They would never treat customers like that. As for not getting an appointment don't need one I got my hair cut and blow dried in Sculptur Salon on Woodland Road for half your price. Both manager and stylist was fantastic. I don't need you theres thousands of hairdressers all over Glasgow but you will need customers the place was deserted I found out you were just a franchise and I went for The Rainbow Room International name. You will not last long unless you fix you attitude. If I can find an alternative hairdresser for half the price so can everyone else. You won't last long. Please note, if someone had just apologised and said there was a mix up and that they were unable to do it, I would have understood and just left. However, they told me to take the jacket off and sit down, asked me to wait around for about 20 minutes for John's wife to come back and then she did not bother to speak to me directly.

An excellent service from all of its staff and high quality of products and services on offer. Only slight complaint is the choice and volume of music of its branch manager.

I attended this salon for the first time for a hair colour and cut having read the reviews for RRI. The Great Western Road RRI salon, the nearest to where I now lived having moved to Glasgow. I have thick brown hair and normally have a shoulder length bob, previously cut every 5 weeks. I received a colour test and a cut and was booked in to return in 2 weeks for the colour. Unfortunately the cut was a disaster. Left hand side of my hair was noticeable longer than the right, higher at the back, very short and my fringe appeared thin. The senior stylist/boss apologised, I expected a prompt appointment to correct my hair, however I was disappointed, he made me wait 3 weeks. Not sure why, I was devastated, but he promised to colour my hair, cut and style my hair himself. The boss/senior stylist cut and coloured my hair 3 weeks later.. colour was ok but the cut was not precise, a section of the hair longer at the front, right hand side this time., I could only say I was disappointed and so upset, my hair is very important to me. I was charged in total 157.50 pounds for the privilege of a poor cut and poor service. I will never return
