This is literally just a monument on a road. It's nice and proper but don't expect anything fancy. There's a couple of good walks, but you'll need walking boots if it's been wet as the path is very muddy! Parking is limited (about three or four spaces).

I spent the first 4 years of my life in a caravan on a farm close by. My father was a teacher in Wallasey and used to walk home to save the bus fare, mum and i would meet him walking by the airfields on his way home. No sign of the airfields now but nice to know theres a monument. Don't live in UK now and will most likely never see it so thanks for the photo!
