We got there at 15.45pm in summer holiday. . It was supposed to close at 16.00, there was was two council workers standing there. One said sorry we are closing now. I am not sure how they can get away with this rude behaviour it is rude and made me angry as I was with my 3 children who were not happy.

Come frequently great place for the kids and love having an indoor picnic even when the weather is rubbish.

Too many creatures in small compartments/space. Many displayed signs of lethargy, one tortoise was stressed. Some fish appeared too large for the small pond. I left unhappier than when I entered. I know, their natural habitat is threatened, we have to protect them as they are endangered. Wild creatures should not be contained, shut it down.

The glasshouse has a small aviary with a few parrots and cockatoos as well as small displays of various small reptiles and a chinchilla. Not much educational value but interesting nonetheless to observe the small creatures. The plants section of the glasshiuse seems to be permanently shut for the time being.

Easily accessible entrance. Good place for families to bring kids to enjoy the display. Inside I would say the koi ponds are the real highlight of the glass house, anything else I think you can see anywhere else. Overall I would recommend to go and have a good time, but sadly it is currently CLOSED. And it does not say it's closed ANYWHERE even on the signs at the front, so I think that really annoyed me when I tried to go there thinking it was open.

Fun place for family. Some renovation is in progress. Signs are there but one may be confused where the entrance really is. Inside there a quite lounge and kids play area. A koi pond and reptile house are the highlights. Well maintained.
