We would not choose to stay here again. On a recent 10-day road-trip Melbourne to Cairns, this was by far the least enjoyable experience. We were in the 'executive' area which I think meant that the room furnishings were meant to be better (can't confirm as we didn't see other rooms). The room was a disabled access room and ironically the rail in the shower area was loose and unstable. The foam that was added to keep water from going through the room was old and falling apart so maintenance is clearly not a priority. The room itself appeared clean. We ordered room service from the restaurant; it was disappointing, over cooked and unappetising. I would give it a hard pass next time. Considering this was the most expensive motel we stayed at I would instead search for another place next time. One note for the business: I am a fan when a business offers a disabled access room at the regular room rate. If you only have one and put it in an area you designate as "executive' with a higher rate, I would at least hope the bathroom 'accessibility features' are maintained and safe. (We were offered a 10% discount (thank you) after questioning the higher rate but still was higher than the standard rooms.)

Paid extra for a renovated room...weird marks on the ceiling, dodgy old bathroom door, shower door doesn't shut properly, only one hook on the back of the bathroom door with marks where the other one used to be. Unpainted, touched up repair on ceiling in shower. Not enough insulation to stop neighbour and traffic noise.

There was no wifi connection and the network service in the area was horrendous. The rooms also had dirty quilts with sticky brown stains. The rooms definitely needed a little more TLC.
