5 stars for a really comfortable bed. Nice linen and a great sleep which means a lot. The place was clean and homely and the staff were friendly and welcoming. This place is a family business and not owned by a large foreign company and we loved that. Dale and his beautiful Labrador made us feel very welcome. Beautiful building with a great back story. Recommend the steak and the lamb with vegetables in the restaurant. Would definitely go back.

Would stay again. Great communication. Well priced. Room was clean and tidy. The staff were super friendly and really helpful. Room service was delicious. Beds were pretty comfy. We were on the second story so the stairs were a bit of a pain with suitcases. The shower did screech when running and we couldn’t make it stop. Was disappointed that breakfast wasn’t available due to a function but that’s ok.

Beautiful colonial hotel indeed with beautiful surrounding. It looks like a cottage with plants adorning the facade. The reception lady was very helpful and friendly. Self sufficient basic amenities with coffee, tea and kettle, iron with ironing board, lots of hangars in cabinet, small fridge, sofa plus dining chairs. Huge room with 3 of us can fit in with ample space. Since we have a room on ground floor, our car was parked right in front of the room. Many carpark space as well. The hotel have a separate building. Highest was on 3rd floor. If you have luggages, it will be tiring to walk up the stairs as there's no lift in this building since it's built in 1847. I would recommend this hotel.
