Some of the best wines I've enjoyed have come from Quaff. Best wine merchant I know. Lots of variety, and good stocker of English sparkling wines and craft beers + ales.

You really do need to store and display your beer cold. Lots of cans warming on shelves in here. For hoppy beers this is the kiss of death. On more than one occasion I have bought cans and they have tasted rather stale due to them warming on the shelf. Most cans clearly state. Keep Cold. Please do this. The beer deserves it. Otherwise, a very decent selection of local and further afield craft beer and a brill selection of wines. Just chill that beer, man.

A truly great shop that really fits in to, and helps to define the character of, the wonderful area that is Fiveways. Once Quaff arrived, it was no longer necessary to travel outside the area to get quality wine and beer. They have all my favourite Belgian beers, and Dan's own Lost Pier beers are terrfic. But best of all is the wine selection. Whatever they have... is really good. The quality of the selection is first-rate, and I'm always happy to put myself in their hands. Tom's recommendations in particular are really interesting and excellent. Over the years Sarah, Tom, Dan et al have become very friendly acquaintances. My fave place for wine, and with the demise of Trafalgar Wines, for beers too.

I can’t recommend Quaff and their staff enough. We’re fortunate to live very close to Quaff, and visit it at least once a week, so we’ve got to know the team there very well. They’re always helpful, polite and have been really welcoming during the pandemic, particularly bearing in mind how busy they were when the pubs were closed. We often go in undecided as to exactly what we want to drink, and are always happy with the suggestions that are made to us. I genuinely can’t think of a wine or beer that we’ve drunk from there that we haven’t enjoyed. Thank you for everything guys, see you soon!
