A nice menu of food selection here, they also had quite a few specials on the board. We had pancakes which were really good, the cold pressed juice is only from a bottle though, so probably go for a smoothly if you are after something freshly made. Coffee was nice, not the best I've had but still a 7/10.

Located on this lazy, relaxed cove with a hint of LA boulevard is a relaxed and chilled cafe, the fresh air and water make for a really nice morning or afternoon eating experience. The meal i had was the zucchini fritters and a juice . Those fritters came with poached eggs and a labne/ beetroot dip and topped with garden salad and smoked salmon, the level of care in the food really came through as all the elements on the plate made for a delicious meal and definetly the reason i will visit again, a little disappointed the juice was not in house made but they have done their research and found a product that delivers a quality produce so still worth every penny.

Friendly service, tasty brownies & pleasant view of Lake Macquarie across the road. The young bloke who served us kindly took a photo of our group together - on one friend's phone, so she could share it with the rest of us.🤸‍♀️😁

  • In Roman times, Newcastle – then called Pons Aelius – was a fort on Hadrian’s Wall, and during the Saxon period, it was known as Monk Chester on account of its many religious houses. The city owes its present name to William the Conqueror who, like Hadrian before him, recognized its strategic importance.
