Joined today. Manager showed me around and kept it nice and simple. Showed me how to sign up. I made an error doing it and the lady staff member was great helping me do it again. Equipment is great and everything is well organised 👍

Good gym, helpful staff. Would be 5 stars if it had more machines; emphasis seems to be on free weights. Tons of cardio equipment though.

I used to love this gym chain with its national reach and 24 hour services, however over the last 6 months I have seen a big change in the attitude of the staff. During the height of COVID there were no sharing of spaces (totally agree) unless you were young women with firm arses then the staffs attitude is that they can crack on a train together but if you are male they are sprung ready to threaten to ban you if you happen to walk across someone’s box. When Boris said that people of the same household could train together, PureGym used this to say if you train together you are out and banned even though my daughter is new to training and needed some support. I train regularly and felt I had to keep looking over my shoulders which soon became tiresome. However to compensate this my daughter was given some invaluable advise and was told that in order to do a skull crusher she needed to imagine she was masterbating a man. That was it and the last time we went to this gym.

Good gym, wide range of equipment and very cheap. Only one bench press and 2 squat racks though so bit limited if you mainly train with barbells.
