Prestwood Road West Surgery wolverhampton

I've been with this practice for 35 years and have never had a poor experience. Everyone in the practice; receptionists, nurses and doctors, are in my experience always polite and helpful, extremely caring, compassionate and professional. One of the doctors here quite literally saved my life with her observation of something that could so easily have remained unnoticed. Fabulous people; thank you.

My experiences at this practice have been very positive. Yes it is busy and can be difficult to get an appointment (What GP practice isn't overburdened and stretched?). Booking staff are excellent and the medical staff have given me the upmost care and promptly referred me on when they felt it was relevant to do so. Fantastic standard of care.

Dr Shafiq has a terrible attitude. After being at this surgery for my entire life I am leaving due to this rude arrogant man . He has no people skills whatsoever.

Trying to get an appointment is ridiculous. They say call at 8am, it took me 58 times to finally get through then i was caller number 14 in the queue, 19 minutes later the receptionist answered and said NO APPOINT

Disgusted with this surgery. Takes forever to get through then when you do they have no appointments available. They tell you to call the next day the receptionist is pathetic!!!!!!

I have very bad mental health problems and l had a break down in 1999 I've never recovered from that in 2004 l started having anxiety and panic attacks and the NHS said they couldn't find anything wrong with me and l ended going to a private hospital and and that's how I found out I was having anxiety panic attacks do l trust NHS no and this week l sign up to Echo APP and gave them five days to get my prescription and they left it to the last day to tell me they still have not any replies back from the doctors for my prescription Thursday is half day for the doctors surgery so so I can get in touched with them till Friday it it took two calls to the doctors surgery four calls to the pharmacist

They say phone at 8am and the phones never on the hook. Lazy anint the word. My moms gotton that peed off trying to phone in the morning that she went round there and reported the reseptionists to tbe doctors and got an appointment after they tried to tell tbe doctors my mom was lying and now again im trying to get her an appointment and phones dead. No covid message or options on the phone, nothing.

Worst experience ever! I have booked an appointment for my pregnant wife, we arrived on time and the lady on reception said " I spoke to our nurse and she can't have you today, we want to contact you but we haven't got your details "...not sorry or any kind of apology...just said " you can go to the New Cross Hospital..." absolutely non-professional staff and I'm very, very disappointed with this situation on this particularly surgery. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND AT ALL! 👎🏻
