I visited the park with my 3 years old and baby and we loved it. The part with the flowers is really beautiful but what my kids loved the most is the playground. It's a really good playground with activities to keep both older and younger kids busy. There's also a big open space where kids were playing football. The park is next to the Preston Manor which we visited after and it was a good day out for adults and children

Well kept and pretty! Lots of space for a picnic, lots of historic ruins to see and a coffee 'bike' half way through. Next to the river with parking close by.

Beautiful public park with old buildings and historic landmarks. Would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area. Head to the monument at the back of the park to see circus skills performers!

Love this place for kids, so much to do, great enclosed green space for little ones. They have a wonderful sand pit for toddlers and a fab massive slide for the older kids. Tennis courts, cross fit space, pond with lots of tadpoles, a rose garden, they have it all. I recommend they cafe in the top end of the park, the rotunda isn't great.

The oldest velodrome in the world (also the longest) is still going strong. It's a legendary place for any cyclist to visit. There's still plenty of competitions to watch or get involved in. They say that this place used to draw bigger crowds than the football back in the day. I would like to think it will again one day. Cycling is so much more exciting than football! It's fast, requires technique and skill, guts, determination. Bike technology is also important and the combination make a great show.

Beautiful park. Relaxed atmosphere, smoker friendly if you're respectful and aware there could be kids in the park! Come and have a beer and kick back for a few hours. Green Pride is also hosted here annually.

A Brighton institution, snuggling couples, all manner of sports, varied picnic spots and because it's Brighton, ecstatic dance, laughter yoga, garden choirs, Buddhist football teams, cheese rolling. You name it! It's going down here. Cafe in the rose garden is particularly picturesque.

Been rinsing the car chargers down Preston Park Avenue while they were on free vend. Became a regular at the café for all of a week or two, that was nice. Great place to take a baby actually too since it's full of doggies.
